Niles Beach

Allie was super communicative and accommodating. The home is sweet and cozy, was perfect for a quick weekend trip.

This was a perfect stay for a long weekend. The house was perfect for 5 guests - while it slept more it might have been tight in the kitchen, dining, and living room areas. Conveniently located in a beautiful coastal town with great restaurants and close proximity to other towns with a lot to do.

Lovely place and location. Loved the patio space out back. The house was clean and tidy.

Allie was great with communication and directions. The place was unbelievably charming. One thing I really appreciate that’s not typical is the low stress checkout. Allie made everything very simple and that helps the consumer feel better about paying for cleaning fees!

We had a lovely stay at Allie’s place with our 3 year old and baby. It was nicely renovated house, very quick walk to Niles beach, and a short drive to Good Harbor and downtown Gloucester. Allie was always responsive to any questions. Only thing to note is the stairs are steep. We would definitely return!

Beautiful rental - stylish, well designed, and unique. We loved the location. It was so nice to be able to walk back and forth to Niles to swim, explore, and watch the sunset. Kids loved the third floor space with views of the water from the skylights. In the future, we may steal that space for ourselves! House has a lot of stairs and a few step-downs/step-ups - FYI that it might be a bit challenging to navigate for young kids and/or older adults, especially at night. Host was very communicative - no issues checking in even though we arrived very late after a flight cancellation. Great stay!

We had such a great week at this property! The house is old but beautifully remodeled and has so much charm. It’s on a quiet dead end road and was so peaceful. The road is narrow as is the driveway but we just parked our SUV alongside the front of the house and had no problems. It’s a short walk down to the private beach and the main beaches, restaurants, and shops are all within 10 or so minute drive. A couple REALLY minor things to note…the main bedroom has its own bathroom with a toilet and shower but the sink/mirror is in the actual bedroom just outside the bathroom. The second and third bedrooms don’t have closets in case that’s important to you. The curved staircase to the second floor is a bit tight if you happen to have a large suitcase like I did :) Allie was an amazing host - so responsive, helpful, and proactive. The house was perfect for our family and we will absolutely book with Allie again for our annual trip to Gloucester next year!!

We loved our stay here in Gloucester! The house is beautiful, super clean, spacious and the views of the ocean and boats from the master bedroom and floor above that are unparalleled. It was so nice keeping the balcony door open to let fresh ocean air in our bedroom. It took us less than 5 minutes to walk to Niles Beach, which we loved to do around dusk so we could see the sunset over the ocean. Absolute perk that no chores are required for check-out- when you pay the cleaning fee on AirBnB it actually means something with this place. We genuinely loved this home- highly recommend!

Great vacation spot. Great location. House was very clean and a great space for friends and family.

Great spot with an easy walk to the beach. We spent the weekend with two other couples and plenty of space. Also easy to get Ubers to take you into Rockport or Gloucester. We parked and never used our cars again.

This house was packed with extra beach towels, sunscreen, paper towels, foil and plastic wrap. Lots of room and comfortable seating for my family reunion. Private outdoor table with comfortable seating for six. Gas grill with all the tools for the job. Used provided wooden matches to light grill. Only difficulty was the up and down steps on 1st floor. But we loved and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice touch was the reading library including signed copies of local history “Guns off Gloucester” which I read 50 years ago and “Thatcher’s” the story of tragedy and the building of Twin Lights and “Ann’s Eyes”.

The house was very cozy and location was great. Very close to the beach. Well lit with beautiful interior decor. Well appointed, with all the kitchen tools one needs to enjoy countless lobsters. Host was communicative, and took care of clean up. We really enjoyed our stay. A few notes for prospective guests with babies: 1) the high chair provided was a tight squeeze for my very slender almost two year old. 2) you need to bring a mattress for the pack and play as the bottom is basically planks. 3) the stairs can be rather treacherous and almost every room in the living area has a step up or down.

The house was lovely and walking proximity to beautiful marsh, rocky neck art colony, lighthouse and beach was great. As noted in the description, the house is not suitable for those with mobility issues and only one bedroom has a bathroom, otherwise you have to go downstairs. But it was a lovely home and had everything we needed.

Wonderful Airbnb with beautiful views! Walkable to the beach and a short drive to the downtown area. Only thing is that the queen and king bed mattresses are hard as rocks and definitely impacted our sleep

The house is comfortable, and we enjoyed ourselves with our children, the kitchen well-equipped. The stairs are a tricky but doable. But anything else is really, really pretty and very, very well done.

We really enjoyed staying at this cottage! It is right around the corner from Niles beach which was beautiful! The neighborhood is peaceful and the surrounding houses are gorgeous to admire. We visited in the fall and had the most amazing fall weather! We really enjoyed watching the sunrise from the king bed and the top floor had great views of the sunset. The kitchen was well stocked with nice Caraway pans. They had a great pack and play and high chair for my 9 month old baby. It is an older home and there are steps and steep stairs which require you to be vigilant when walking around. We didn’t have an issue, but it would be difficult for older people. I highly recommend and hope to be back in the summer!

Allie was a great host, very responsive when ever I needed anything. The house was a great place overall for my family and I. It is in the perfect location if you wanted to drive to Rockport or Salem or even do things in downtown Gloucester. I definitely recommend this place!

I had a wonderful stay! Allie was a fantastic host and her dinner recommendation at Tonno was perfect. The house was clean, comfortable, and less than a 3-minute walk to Niles Beach. The lane to the house is a bit rough, but having a dedicated parking spot made it easy. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I’d definitely stay again!

My family spent a lovely week at Allie’s house. It was clean, cozy, well stocked and a great location. Allie was very responsive when we asked to extend our visit by a day, and needed to check in early to accommodate child naps. Would definitely stay here again

The home is in a beautiful location, steps away from Niles Beach. Allie responded to any of our questions right away. The home was quaint, and the beds were comfortable. I would certainly stay here again!

Charming home just a short walk from Niles Beach, which is perfect for little kids and has a wonderful neighborhood feel. We got great weather over 4th of July weekend and also got to see the fireworks from the beach. The house is clean, well-equipped, and features a small garden with a grill, ideal for a summer stay. The bedding was comfortable and super clean, and the home is decorated like the perfect beach house. Allie is a responsive and attentive host.

Great place for a girl’s trip. The house was wonderful and clean. We loved how close it was to the water. We enjoyed how quiet the area was. Would recommend.

Overall a lovely experience. We loved the Niles Beach, which is 5min walk away. The house is clean and feels like home. Kids love it!

My family of 5 stayed at Allie's place for a few weeks in January while we renovated a house in the area. Allie's place is tastefully decorated, clean, and cozy. I appreciated the large washer and dryer, and the heater in the master bath was a nice touch. The beds and pillows were very comfy. Even in the dead of winter, we took advantage of the short walk to the beach often. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking a nice stay by the ocean.

This is a wonderful home in a beautiful location. Well-appointed, comfortable and both cozy and spacious. Highly recommend a walk on Niles Beach. It's beautiful. Would stay again!

The house met all our needs. It is not, however, a place for folks with mobility issues, because of steep stairs and a number of single steps. If I have a complaint, it is only that I found the bed covers too heavy (I used the available blanket instead) and I prefer feather pillows. The location is superb — in close proximity to Niles Beach and Eastern Point — one of my favorite places in the world.

House was perfect! The view from the third floor bedroom was amazing. Walk to the beach was quick and easy, beautiful sunset. Stairs are tricky, but that is discussed in the listing, so no surprise. Small separate living spaces made it cozy.

Very clean and quiet spot. I will definitely come again. Great for a large amount of people to stay in.

Our family lives far apart and we wanted a place close to a beach. Niles Beach is small, especially at high tide and is a block walk away, but just right for relaxing and for the kids to play in the sand and maybe find hermit crabs. There was an umbrella, beach towels, beach chairs and a bucket and shovels. The house was welcoming. We just felt at home playing checkers, doing a puzzle or relaxing and reading on one of the couches or sitting in the sun on the deck. Our granddaughter made herself the "bar waitress" and served people who sat at the counter next to the kitchen. The yard is small but well designed. I loved the long wooden bench next to the wall with the slanted backrest. There are some small level changes between rooms and the stairway up to the sleeping rooms has some steep steps, but there are plenty of rails to hold on to. Beds were very comfortable. I think the kids loved sleeping in the room with 3 twin beds on the third floor. The house is lovely and restful.
