Smith Cove

It was a wonderful local with harbor and town views in the thick of the Rocky Neck artists neighborhood. The apartment has many creature comforts: 3 full large baths, loads of plush towels, good bed linens, and a good kitchen. There were a couple broken hardware issues, but overall a great place to stay, explore Gloucester and Cape Ann and go art gallery crawling.

We loved our stay! This home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, with thoughtful decor and amazing views! We were only there for a short two night getaway and it was really hard to leave!

Allie’s place at Smith Cove was a very special experience with outstanding harbor views and a charming, central location among Rocky Neck’s boat docks and galleries. The layout and vibe of the house is so relaxing with lots of light. Overall, the home is very clean with ample towels/linens and a well-stocked functional kitchen. Allie was an excellent and responsive host who made the check-in and check-out process very easy and efficient. This was definitely one of my favorite airbnb experiences!

We had such a wonderful stay at Allie’s place! The home was beautiful, cozy, very clean, and even better than we expected. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived, and the peaceful coastal atmosphere made our stay even more special. Allie was a wonderful and thoughtful host, and communication throughout our stay was great. A special thank you to Ryan as well, who was very helpful whenever I reached out and made extending our stay for an extra night incredibly easy. One of the nicest properties we’ve stayed at - a true gem! The location is so peaceful and beautiful. We loved wandering among the galleries, popping into local restaurants for a bite and drink. You can easily hop on the water taxi across the harbor. Allie was a perfect host - responsive and helpful. The home is so bright and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. A wonderful retreat and the perfect spot for old friends to reconnect. We left refreshed and hoping to return again.

The home was great. The host made an extra trip to bring us a high chair for our baby. Very helpful. We would stay with them again.

We had a great stay at Allie’s place. The house was breathtaking with the wall of windows and great views. Everything was clean and in good order. We appreciated that the checkout process was a simple “There’s no need for tidying up - our cleaning team has got it covered. Leave the chores to us!”. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and more. The kitchen had everything we need to cook beautiful local seafood and we appreciated the extra double air mattress and pack and play for our infant and toddler. There are 2 great local bars/restaurants just steps away. The patio has spectacular views we enjoyed watching the boats come and go! Would love to come back! Recommend 100% great stay!!!

We loved Allie’s place! The house was beautiful with amazing views. The little neighborhood of Rocky Neck was also so cute and fun to walk around. There are a few really good restaurants you can walk to and a cute ice cream stand. Short drive to everything else you want to go to. Allie’s place was also extremely clean and welcoming. We greatly enjoyed our stay at Allies’s place. The house is absolutely beautiful and just as described and seen in the photos. Allie was quick to respond to all of our inquires. She was a joy! The house location is a special spot that we explored mostly on foot. We loved that we could walk to the coffee shops, restaurants and beaches. We had a lovely time and would absolutely stay again! 😃

We had a wonderful stay! Our host was incredibly responsive, kind, and welcoming from the moment we booked. The home was spotless, bright, airy, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic—close to everything we wanted to see and do while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into making guests feel comfortable. The space was beautifully maintained, well-stocked, and felt like a home away from home. Communication was seamless throughout our stay, and every question was answered quickly. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This was my first Airbnb experience and it was great. The place itself was as pictured and very clean. Parking was always available close to the front of the unit. We did encounter an issue with the heating system making a loud noise while it was running overnight. I messaged the host in the morning and they had a technician onsite within a couple of hours that promptly addressed the problem. Overall we loved this place I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Gloucester.

Allie’s place was such a great getaway! What an incredible location. We loved waking up to the beautiful water view and relaxing with coffee on the deck. The place is set up so well for guests with a bathroom for each guest room, blackout shades, and comfortable beds. The decor is really thoughtful and nods to the artist colony the place is located in. We had a wonderful time.

We had a lovely spring break long weekend in the house. It was squeaky clean when we arrived, with all amenities stocked full. Everything inside the house is comfortable (beds, living room couches) in case you wanted to do nothing but sit on the deck and enjoy the peace. Slightly early for the busy season (we went early April), the entire neighborhood felt private and serene, which is what we wanted. Food options for walking get limited (due to early season), but there are plenty of options in town or delivery. I really didn't have to reach out to Allie for anything much, but she was quick to respond. Definitely recommended house and host.

Rocky Neck is a beautiful place to stay! \nUnique vintage style with many wonderful updates. The heating took us a bit to get used to with the open loft and all the windows. The kitchen has everything you need and you cannot beat the view at night! Thanks Allie!

Allie is a wonderful host- very responsive and helpful. The property is exactly as it appears in the photos: stunning views, airy and comfortable living spaces, well appointed kitchen, and comfortable beds. The linens and towels are high quality and pristine white. The entire space was sparkling clean. The checkout process was simple, and since we had flights to catch we appreciated not having to do any housework. Everything was taken care of by the cleaning crew after we left. We loved our time there. I would highly recommend Allie as a host- you won’t be disappointed!

The house was fabulous, with beautiful high end finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house is located next to two restaurants and several art studios. Host was immediately responsive to questions and quickly addressed a problem with one of the smoke alarms. And the water views are amazing!

This is a truly a stunning place. The interior is gorgeous - the large open living space has big windows and very charming details. The kitchen is large and has everything one could need. The apartment is directly on the harbor with an amazing large deck from which to enjoy the view. We rented this to accommodate some of the out of town guests for a large local family reunion. It was hard to persuade them to leave!

This location and property could not be beat. We are familiar with the neighborhood in the area, and we were surprised at how much more we loved it after staying in this beautiful home. Everything about it was perfect. We will be back!

The place was beautiful and clean! We had plenty of room for four. The deck was a great place for us to hang out and enjoy a nice meal. The neighborhood was peaceful and easy to get around. Allie was nothing less than perfect with her communication. We are definitely coming back the next time we are in Gloucester. And it's an easy drive from Rockport as well. Thanks Allie!
